Avis Budget Group Endorses the Wizard Licensee Bridge to Bluebird's RentWorks
Bluebird Auto Rental Systems has developed an interface to the Wizard global mainframe system of Avis Budget Group.  This allows Avis and Budget Licensees who use Wizard as their point-of-sale system to properly manage their business.

Every day, closed contracts and a snap shot of the licensee's fleet are downloaded into RentWorks.  Numerous reports can then be run, from Daily Business to Utilization.

Users Conference
Bluebird Users from places as far as South Africa, Ireland, and Alaska came to Caesar's Atlantic City on September 23-24, 2009 to hear about the latest products and releases.

On the first day, presentations were given on PCI Compliance and credit card processing.  In the afternoon, vendor partners demonstrated handheld devices and powerful custom report writer tools.

In the morning of the second day, users saw the latest changes to Version 4, and were presented with the current development calendar.  Their input was sought with respect to what projects to tackle next, and in what order.  In the afternoon, attendees were able to choose three breakout sessions from a total of sixteen, covering topics from Rate Management & Forecasting to Back Office Procedures.
