Bluebird Announces Agreement with ADP

Parsippany, NJ USA –   Bluebird Auto Rental Systems (BARS) announced that they have signed a technology and business agreement with the Dealer Services Group of Automatic Data Processing, Inc. (NYSE: ADP).  The agreement allows Bluebird to provide a two-way, or bi-directional, interface between their flagship product, AutoMate2, and ADP’s Elite Dealer Management System (DMS).

Auto rental and service loaner departments owned and operated by car dealerships are typically on the same computer network.  With the new interface, they will be able to download customer and vehicle data from their DMS, and accounting information from AutoMate2 will be able to be uploaded into the DMS.

“Many dealerships often have to hire extra personnel just to re-key their rental data into the F&I systems”, explains Phil Jones, VP of Bluebird’s Support and Development.  “The new interface will save hundreds of hours per year empowering our mutual clients to maximize their profits.”

“ADP’s Elite Open API Program will allow Bluebird the ability to interface their AutoMate2 rental solution to the Elite DMS utilizing our robust interface library”, states James Beveridge, ADP’s Open API Program Manager.  “This integration will enhance the ability of ADP clients to better manage their rental operation, increasing customer satisfaction and operational efficiency”.
