Bluebird Auto Rental Systems Successfully Installs Windows-based Software in Dublin, Ireland

Parsippany, NJ USA – Bluebird Auto Rental Systems, L.P. announced today that it has successfully completed the installation of their Windows-based software program, AutoMate2, at Malone Car & Van Rental based in Ireland.

The final phase of the installation required several custom reports to be written to accommodate Malone’s management reporting requirements.  This software programming was completed upon detailed report specifications being met.

“The Bluebird system has allowed us to control our units so effectively since the installation that we have seen a dramatic increase in revenue through better utilization and fleet planning”, reports Mr. Colm Brady, Financial Controller of Malone.  “Our prior system was not able to do this because the management reporting was poor and the fleet planning was non existent.  It was to easy for staff to change the status of a vehicle with no audit trail been kept.  With AutoMate2 it is easy to track all vehicle movements through the vehicle history.  Any one who has used a windows based product will find AutoMate2 easy.”

The locations of Malone cover the entire country, including three in-terminal airport locations, and handle a peak of 1,000 vehicles.  They specialize in accommodating Tour Operators, Corporate and Retail Customers.  Over 40 employees have access to the system.

According to Mr. Brady, the next phase of implementation will be to integrate Bluebird’s e-rez2 product with their web site.  This will allow travel agents, tour operators, and corporate clients to easily make reservations with Malone.
