Bluebird Integrates with Auto/Mate DMS
Bluebird’s RentWorks Vehicle Rental Software Interfaces With The AUTO/MATE Dealership Management System
Dover, NJ USA. – Bluebird Auto Rental Systems, L.P. is pleased to introduce the interface to a third party accounting system: the Auto/Mate Dealership Management System.
Bluebird’s RentWorks interfaces with Auto/Mate’s General Ledger and Accounts Receivable modules. Data is configured for the former via the “General Ledger Setup” in RentWorks. The Chart of Accounts is entered so that it matches the account numbers in Auto/Mate. Journal Entries are then created via the Daily Business Report. Once a cutoff date is entered, any unposted debit or credit is included in a file to be imported into Auto/Mate.
Accounts Receivable entries are also created when posting the Daily Business Report, whenever there is a payment with a type of Direct Bill. If a unique range of transaction numbers is not set up for invoice numbers, the rental agreement number is used. Use of an AR# is optional, as the company or renter name is used to post transactions from RentWorks to Auto/Mate.
